Live Scan Fees
The fees for Live Scan consist of the rolling fee for the fingerprinting and the background investigation fee. The background investigation fee depends on the level of service and is charged by the Department of Justice (DOJ). Additionally if your requesting agency asked for an FBI background check, an FBI fee will be due.

Fees: $20.00 – $35.00 rolling fee per live scan.
Office visit by appointment only fee is $68-$85
Discounts are available for non-profit organizations, volunteer groups and for large group sessions. Please call 916-742-9558 for a quote. Travel Fee discount available for large groups.

Your total fee will be given to you before your fingerprints are scanned. We accept the following forms of payment: Cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Money Order, Check (Business/Personal) and Cashier's Check. A $25 fee will be charged for any returned Checks or Credit Cards.
All fees are subject to change. Additional charges may apply depending on the type of application being processed.
At the top of your request for Live Scan service form issued to you by your employer or referring agency, there is an ORI Code. The ORI Code will determined the level(s) of service you will require for your license or position.
Ink Card Fingerprinting
Rest assured your background check is accurate with sophisticated ink card fingerprinting. This may be required to obtain your criminal history record from another state or another country, to obtain a copy of your criminal history record sent directly to you by the FBI, or to obtain an out-of-state professional license (FBI channeling is available). Inked fingerprint card fees are:
